CITY OF ROCKLEDGE

The City of Rockledge operates a primary PSAP with two (2) answering positions serving three (3) incoming 9-1-1 trunks.

The staff consists of six personnel including supervisors. This staff utilizes the Positron "Lifeline" 9-1-1 terminal equipment with two 30-button IAP Plus Workstations. A 10-channel digital logging recorder is used to record 9-1-1 calls and each position has an instant playback recorder at each call taking position.

Spectracomm Netclock equipment is installed to provide for master timing of 911 hardware.

The city handled a total of 6,390 emergency 9-1-1 calls in the last fiscal year. The following chart depicts the call loading for the last three (3) fiscal years:
